Mirzoyan reiterated Armenia’s commitment to peace and its readiness to sign the already agreed-upon peace treaty with Azerbaijan. However, he stressed that achieving peace requires mutual commitment from both parties. For lasting regional stability, he highlighted the importance of border delimitation and unblocking transportation routes. At the same time, Mirzoyan noted that Azerbaijan continues to evade Armenia’s concrete proposals, including establishing arms control mechanisms and releasing prisoners of war. "Armenia’s firm political will for peace must be reciprocated. If peace is to be realized, both sides must be committed to building trust and fostering dialogue," he said. He reaffirmed Armenia’s adherence to its foreign policy strategy, aimed at establishing peace in the region and deepening cooperation with global partners. During the expanded meeting between the foreign ministers, the parties discussed potential cooperation in trade, economy, education, high technology, and energy. Both sides emphasized the need to boost investments and strengthen business ties. Regarding regional developments, Mirzoyan presented Armenia’s vision for achieving peace in the South Caucasus. He reiterated Armenia’s readiness to sign the agreed-upon peace agreement, which he believes could play a key role in ensuring regional stability and comprehensive peace. On March 13, Armenia’s Foreign Ministry announced it had accepted Azerbaijan’s proposals on two disputed articles, declaring the peace agreement ready for signing. Armenia expressed readiness to discuss the timing and location of the signing.
