Armenia advances peace agenda, says Security Council Secretary

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia's Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan stated during a press briefing that Armenia remains committed to advancing the peace agenda.

"All articles of the peace treaty have been agreed upon, and Armenia, under the leadership of the prime minister, declares its readiness to sign the treaty. We are prepared to begin technical discussions to finalize the date, time, and remaining details," Grigoryan said, as reported by 1lurer.am .

Regarding the withdrawal of Azerbaijani armed forces from Armenia's sovereign territory, Grigoryan noted that the matter would be addressed within the framework of the border delimitation process.

Meanwhile, for the past five days, Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry has been spreading disinformation, claiming that the Armenian side is violating the ceasefire.

The Armenian prime minister's office has proposed establishing a joint Armenia-Azerbaijan mechanism to investigate ceasefire violations or related reports. However, official Baku has yet to respond to the proposal.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has also suggested that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev initiate consultations on signing the already agreed-upon version of the peace agreement.
