Two Armenian champions among Europe’s top lifter nominees

PanARMENIAN.Net - Two leading athletes from Armenia’s national weightlifting team have been shortlisted for the title of Best European Weightlifter of 2024, according to the press office of the Armenian Weightlifting Federation.

Olympic silver medalist and reigning world and European champion Varazdat Lalayan, along with European champion and world bronze medalist Aleksandra Grigoryan, have both been nominated in the categories of Best Male and Best Female Weightlifter of the Year.

The European Weightlifting Federation will reveal the winners on April 13, during the opening day of the European Championships in Moldova.
