Ruling party endorses MPs' immunity removal

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Civil Contract parliamentary faction has announced its agreement to the Prosecutor General's motions to lift the immunity of National Assembly deputies Hovik Aghazaryan and Taron Margaryan. This statement was made by the head of the faction, Hayk Konjoryan, during a conversation with journalists in the National Assembly, as reported by Pastinfo.

"We will not hinder the implementation of justice," he added.

The Civil Contract faction held a closed discussion to determine its position on this matter.

Prosecutor Anna Vardapetyan has submitted a motion to the National Assembly seeking consent to initiate public criminal prosecution against deputies Taron Margaryan and Hovik Aghazaryan.
