Ghukasyan urges unity around top opposition candidate in Gyumri

PanARMENIAN.Net - Vardan Ghukasyan, candidate for mayor of Gyumri, emphasized the importance of uniting opposition forces to remove the current authorities, stating that consolidation should center around the candidate who receives the most votes. He made this statement via his Telegram channel.

“I say it directly: to get rid of these authorities, the opposition must unite around the candidate who gets the most votes.

If someone else receives more votes than I do, I will support them unconditionally. But if I get more votes and they don’t back me, that will only help these evil authorities,” the post reads.

The local elections in Gyumri are scheduled for March 30.
