Three foreign scientists to start 5-year research in Armenia![]() April 1, 2025 - 15:32 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Three new foreign researchers will carry out five-year scientific projects in Armenia, as confirmed by the results of the “Integration of Foreign Scientists into the Scientific Community of the Republic of Armenia – 2025” competition. According to the order of the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia, the list of selected projects guaranteed for funding has been approved. The chosen scientists will conduct long-term research within Armenian scientific institutions. New departments focused on modern scientific fields will be established within the respective host organizations to support these initiatives. The program began in 2022, and to date, 18 scientific projects have already secured guaranteed funding under its framework. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
