Arman Andreasyan takes silver at European Wrestling Championships

PanARMENIAN.Net - Arman Andreasyan, representing Armenia’s freestyle wrestling team, claimed the silver medal at the European Wrestling Championships.

In the 70 kg weight category final held in Bratislava, Slovakia, Andreasyan faced David Baev, who competed under the flag of the International Wrestling Federation. Andreasian lost the bout 1-4, according to Armenpress.

Vazgen Tevanyan secured a bronze medal in the 65 kg division. He was scheduled to wrestle Georgia’s Goga Otinashvili for third place, but Otinashvili did not appear for the match, resulting in a default win for Tevanyan.

Andreasyan, who won the European title in 2024, now adds a silver to his collection, having previously earned both silver and bronze medals in the same championship. He is also a World Championship bronze medalist.

Tevanyan, the 2023 European champion, has also earned a bronze medal at the World Championships.
