Grigoryan discusses Armenia-EU ties in Brussels![]() April 16, 2025 - 11:09 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - During a working visit to Brussels, Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan met with Viviane Lunella, Head of Cabinet to European Union foreign policy official Kaja Kallas. According to a statement from the Security Council’s office, the sides discussed the state of relations between Armenia and the European Union, as well as potential avenues for future cooperation. The conversation also addressed current security issues at both the regional and global levels, with each side sharing their perspectives. Grigoryan informed his counterpart about the Armenian government's steps aimed at securing lasting and stable peace in the South Caucasus. On April 15, Grigoryan also met with European Commissioner for Defense Andrius Kubilius. The two sides discussed possible directions for cooperation in the areas of defense and the defense industry. Grigoryan outlined the measures taken by Armenia to develop these sectors and shared the government's current priorities in defense and military-industrial development. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
