Arman Avanesyan of Armenia's national sambo team secured the gold medal in the 98 kg weight category at the European Sambo Championships held in Cyprus, becoming the continental champion.

Bronze medals were claimed by Davit Hovsepyan in the 58 kg sports sambo category and Artur Malkhasyan in the 79 kg combat sambo division, according to the Armenian Sambo Federation.

In total, Armenian athletes won six medals at the tournament: one gold and five bronze.
