On April 26, Li Xinwei, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to the Republic of Armenia, arrived in Yerevan, reports Armenpress.

Previously, Chen Min had served as China's chargé d'affaires in Armenia, replacing former Ambassador Fan Yong, whose diplomatic mission ended in July 2024.

Recently, China has signed strategic partnership agreements with neighboring Georgia and Azerbaijan.
