Yarkhushta becomes Armenia team anthem

PanARMENIAN.Net - Yarkhushta will now be performed as the official anthem of Armenia’s national football team, the Football Federation of Armenia reports.

“The symbol of Armenian spirit, strength, and victory — Yarkhushta — will now sound as the official anthem of Armenia’s national football team,” the statement reads.

The composition will be performed by the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra.

Yarkhushta is a traditional Armenian martial folk dance, historically performed by men before going into battle.
