Republican Party skips 2026 parliamentary elections

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Republican Party of Armenia stated that it will not take part in the parliamentary elections set for June 7, 2026. The decision was made during a meeting of the party’s executive body.

“The issue of the party’s participation in the parliamentary elections to be held on June 7, 2026, was discussed. As a result of a comprehensive analysis, a decision was made regarding the Republican Party’s direct non-participation in those elections,” the statement said.

It is also noted that the justification for the decision and the party’s further steps will be presented at the 18th congress of the Republican Party, scheduled for April 4.

Parliamentary elections in Armenia are set to take place on June 7, 2026.
