Kazakhstan extradites suspect to Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Kazakhstan’s Prosecutor General’s Office has granted a request from Armenia’s Prosecutor General’s Office, extraditing a wanted individual identified as A.Z. to Armenian authorities.

According to Armenia’s Prosecutor’s Office, the suspect is accused of participating in a criminal organization, committing computer-based embezzlement totaling 19 million drams as part of that group, and laundering the proceeds.

On instructions from the Prosecutor General’s Office, officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs police ensured A.Z.’s transfer to Yerevan.
