Armenia, Latvia discuss economic projects

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Latvian Foreign Minister Baiba Braze discussed issues related to implementing projects in economic and other areas alongside the expanding political dialogue between Armenia and Latvia. The meeting was held within the framework of the Yerevan Dialogue international forum.

The sides touched upon the agreements reached following the European Political Community and Armenia-EU summits, as well as ongoing work to further advance the Armenia-EU agenda.

Cooperation in multilateral formats was also discussed. The foreign ministers also exchanged views on regional developments.

The 8th summit of the European Political Community took place in Yerevan on May 4, followed by the first Armenia-European Union summit. Around 50 high-level delegations arrived in Armenia to participate in the European Political Community summit, including European Council President Antonio Costa and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. French President Emmanuel Macron also arrived in Yerevan, while Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited Armenia for the first time.
