  Armenian weightlifter tops junior world event May 7, 2026 - 11:33 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Anna Amroyan won the youth world championship held in Egypt with a dominant performance in the women’s 77 kg category. Competing in the 77 kg weight class, Anna Amroyan successfully lifted 100 kg, 104 kg and 106 kg in the snatch. In the clean and jerk, she lifted 128 kg, 132 kg and 134 kg overhead, the Armenian Weightlifting Federation reported. With a total of 240 kg in the combined event, Anna Amroyan became the youth world champion.
