GDP in Armenia decreased by 16.3% in January-June 2009

PanARMENIAN.Net - GDP in Armenia decreased by 16.3% in January-June 2009 compared with 2008 results.



According to RA National Statistical Service -provided data, GDP volume comprised AMD 1119,4 billion. In accordance with state budget, 9,2% GDP increase is planned in Armenia in 2009.



In January -June 2009 production index in Armenia fell by 11.5% to comprise AMD 487.8 million. The greatest slump of 53,5% is registered in construction sphere.
