ARMENIAN PARLIAMENT TO CONSIDER BILL OF LAW ON GUARANTEES OF PROTECTION OF GENOCIDE VICTIMS

PanARMENIAN.Net - A decision was made at the session of the National Assembly of Armenia to put the question of passing the law "On legislative guarantees of protection of the memory of victims of the Armenian genocide in Ottoman Turkey in 1915-1922." Let us remind that the bill submitted by "Agricultural-Industrial People's Union" provides for introduction of criminal responsibility for attempts of denying the fact of the Armenian Genocide. The document also says that Armenian citizen do not have a right to participate in measures of which denial of the fact of the genocide may be the goal.
