TURKISH, AZERI AND GEORGIAN PRESIDENTS TO SIGN AGREEMENT ON STRUGGLE AGAINST TERRORISM TODAY

PanARMENIAN.Net - The meeting of Presidents of Turkey, Azerbaijan and Georgia will start in Turkish city Trabzon. Ahmet Sezer, Heydar Aliyev and Edward Shevardnadze will sign a trilateral agreement on struggle against terrorism, organized crime, drug trafficking and illegal weapon sale. The document stipulates cooperation as exchange of information and documents on struggle against international terrorism and documents regarding security issues. In the course of the talks the sides will discuss the issues of the realization of the Baku-Tbilisi-Jeyhan and Baku-Tbilisi-Erzrum pipelines constructions, the Kars-Akhalkalaki-Baku railway putting into service and fiber-optic cable construction between Poti Georgian city and Rize Turkish city. It should be reminded the CIS Council of Collective Security Secretary General Valeri Nikolayenko has recently stated the possible Azeri-Georgian-Turkish agreement worries Russian Federation.
