REPORTS ON CHEMICAL AND BIOLOGICAL WEAPONS IN ARMENIA AND NAGORNO KARABAKH FALSE

PanARMENIAN.Net - As reported by "Mediamax" agency referring to Azeri sources, the PACE Azeri delegation intends to put the question of presumptive disposal of chemical and biological weapons on the territories of Armenia and the Nagorno Karabakh Republic on the spring session agenda. To confirm it the Azeri party calls "data" from the report prepared by the New York Henry Stimson Center of Strategic Research that Armenia may become a bacteriological weapon storage site within 5 years. Today Nagorno Karabakh Foreign Ministry stated that the reports on locating chemical and biological weapons in the territories of Armenia and NKR "are false". It also reported that NKR permanent representation in US contacted the report author, Emy Smithson, who flatly denied the reports of the Azeri side. "One only has to regret that the Azeri authorities are trying to use my good name and the Henry Stimson Center for political purposes," - she said.
