HEARING OF CASE ON VANO SIRADEGIAN'S REGISTRATION AS CANDIDATE FOR PARTICIPATION IN PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS POSTPONED

PanARMENIAN.Net - The court of first instance of Armenian Tavush region has postoned the hearing of the case on registration of RA ex-minister of intenral affairs and Armenian National Movement (ANM) party ex-leader Vano Siradeghian as a candidate for participation in the additional parliamentary elections on April 25. ANM board member Andranik Hovakimian stated this in his interview with «Arminfo» agency correspondent today.The additional parliamentary elections in 75-th district, that will take place May 19 2002, will be held as the deputy of this district, Vano Siradegian, was deprived of deputy mandate according to the decision of the NA of Armenia. Siradegian has confirmed his intention to run for the National Assembly sending a fax stating his statement to the headquarters of the ANM. The local election committee of Tavush region has registered only three candidates: the Union of writers chairman Levon Ananian, the custom's committee official Hovik Abovian and "Armelectromach" public corporation chair Ilyich Beglarian.
