SWITZERLAND'S PARLIAMENT TO CONSIDER RESOLUTION ON 1915 ARMENIAN GENOCIDE RECOGNITION

PanARMENIAN.Net - The draft resolution on recognition of the 1915 Armenian genocide is on the agenda of the forthcoming meetings of Switzerland's parliament. In the final part of the document is particularly stated the following: "the National Assembly recognizes the 1915 Armenian genocide". 155 out of 201 members of Switzerland's parliament have already seconded the bill, made ready by the deputy representing Christian-democratic party Jan-Clod Vudro. This lets assume that this resolution will be passed at the July session of Switzerland's National Assembly. According to Jan-Clod Vudro, the bill completely agrees with "Swiss humanistic traditions". Besides, he has stated, Switzerland signed the UNO "Convention on genocide".
