Armenian Education Ministry accepting applications for books to be passed to Diaspora schools

PanARMENIAN.Net - This year, RA Ministry of Education and Science provided over 70 000 Armenian-language books to 350 Armenian schools from over 40 countries.



The majority of school books was sent to Georgia, in accordance with local municipalities' applications. The books, as well as school furniture were delivered to Georgia's Armenian schools in October.



According to agreement between Armenian and Georgian Education and Science Ministries, Akhalkalaki regional municipality will be in charge of distribution.



The process will be continued into the year 2010. RA Ministry of Education and Science is currently accepting applications for books to be passed to Diaspora schools.
