DEPUTY FOREIGN MINISTER OF ARMENIA RUBEN SHUGARIAN MET WITH US ASSISTANT SECRETARY OF STATE ELIZABETH JONES

PanARMENIAN.Net - Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia, former Ambassador in Washington Ruben Shugarian's working visit to the United States is completed. In the course of the visit He held meetings with US Assistant Secretary of State Elizabeth Jones, Co-Chairs of the Congressional Caucus on Armenian Issues Frank Pallone and Joe Knollenberg, head of US National Security Council for European and Eurasian affairs Ambassador Dan Fried. Shugarian gave a lecture in George Washington University entitled "Development of Armenia and the South Caucasus region after the events of September 11." The diplomat also met with representatives of the Armenian Assembly of Armenia, the Armenian National Committee of America and other Armenian organizations of the USA.
