Italy welcomes Armenia’s consistent policy in Karabakh conflict settlement

PanARMENIAN.Net - On June 22, Armenian Ambassador to Italy Ruben Karapatyan met with the President of Italian Chamber of Deputies Gianfranco Fini.

Strengthening of bilateral relations as well as diplomacy activation at parliamentary level were discussed. The parties emphasized the importance of deepening cooperation in investment and cultural programs.

The Ambassador briefed Gianfranco Fini on current stage of Karabakh conflict settlement issue, dwelling on recent Azeri subversive attack.

As the President of the Chamber of Deputies noted, Italy welcomes Armenia’s consistent policy in Karabakh conflict settlement.

In conclusion, the Ambassador expressed hope that the planned visit of Gianfranco Fini to Armenia will promote further development of bilateral relations, RA MFA press service reported.
