TURKISH MILITARY INSPECT RUSSIAN MILITARY BASE IN ARMENIA

PanARMENIAN.Net - . Turkish specialists have started inspection of the military base of the group of Russian troops in the Transcaucasus, which is located in Armenia. As reported by "Arka" agency making reference to "ITAR-TASS", the inspection is being held within the framework of the Agreement on common armed forces in Europe. Military experts of Turkey are inspecting separate objects and subdivisions of units of 102-nd military base. They are checking data on the number of the staff, armament and operational readiness of the military equipment, declared by the Russian side by January 1, 2001.
