RA NSC: Armenia to launch negotiations with EU on visa regime relaxation soonFebruary 9, 2011 - 18:21 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Secretary of the RA National Security Council (NSC) Arthur Baghdasaryan held negotiations with Daphne Gogou, the head of expert mission for visas of the European Union. Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia Raul de Luzenberger also participated in the meeting, the RA NSC press service reported. Preparatory works for the process of visa regime relaxation between Armenia and the EU were in the focus of the meeting. European experts noted that the negotiations with Armenia will be launched soon, while Baghdasaryan noted that it will contribute to strengthening and boosting Armenia-EU ties. Baghdasaryan confirmed Armenia’s willingness to do its utmost for the soonest passage of this stage of negotiations.
