Armenian parliament speaker voices support to weightlifter Nazik Avdalyan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian parliament speaker Hovik Abrahamyan voiced support to world weightlifting champion Nazik Avdalyan, who got in a car crash on April 26 on Yerevan-Gyumri motorway and is currently awaiting for a surgery.

“Dear Nazik, you have many times proved that you can fight and win even in the most difficult situations. Along with all your supporters, I wish you soonest recovery and hope to witness your new victories,” Abrahamyan said in a Facebook post.

2008 European champion and 2009 European championship silver winner, Nazik Avdalyan won the world champion’s title in Goyang, South Korea. Then she missed several tournament because of an injury. Returning, she won the Armenian championship and started training for the 2011 world championship.
