ARMENIAN-GEORGIAN TALKS HELD IN YEREVAN

PanARMENIAN.Net - YEREVAN, February 17. /Mediamax/. The Prime Minister of Armenia Andranik Margarian received the State minister of Georgia Georgi Arsenishvili, who arrived today to Armenia for a one-day working visit.

The premiers of Armenia and Georgia stated at the end of the meeting that they discussed all the questions of the agenda and agreed upon the necessity of establishing "an accurate time-schedule for the settlement of problems, accumulated in a number of spheres". It was decided at the meeting that the bilateral working groups will present the project of this schedule by 1 April 2001, after what the conference of the Armenian-Georgian intergovernmental commission will be held in Yerevan.

As Mediamax was informed in the press service of the Government of Armenia, upon the end of the talks Margarian and Arsenishvili signed a joint communique. Armenian-Georgian talks in an enlarged composition also took place. --0--
