Azerbaijan needs to be “beaten” once again, Arabo detachment commander says

PanARMENIAN.Net - Arabo detachment commander Manvel Yeghiazaryan said that the war in Karabakh started one year ago, but hostilities have not excalated.

It is necessary to “beat” Azerbaijan once again to punish it for ceasefire violations, Yeghiazaryan told a press conference in Yerevan in his comments on increased number of incidents at the line of contact between the NKR and Azerbaijani armed forces that result in human losses.

Referring to the military potential of the parties, Yeghiazaryan said that the Armenian side managed to win early in 1990-s, when Azerbaijan had superiority in both weapons and number of soldiers.

However, Yeghiazaryan believes that it is necessary to solve problems inside Armenia, specifically, improve the social situation to gain success at the frontline.
