ARMENIA'S RESULTS AT SYDNEY OLYMPIC GAMES ARE THE WORST AMONG THE SOUTH CAUCASIAN STATES

PanARMENIAN.Net - 02.10.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. Armenia really failed at Summer Olympic Games in Sydney; the Armenian team has got only one bronze medal.

The two other South Caucasian states were much more successful: the Georgian team won 6 bronze medals, and Azeri sportsmen - 2 golden and 1 bronze medals.

Armenia lost its second bronze on Saturday, after Armenian weight sportsmen Ashot Danielian was caught in using doping. -0-
