SHORT BREAK ANNOUNCED AT THE TRIAL OF THE CASE OF THE TERRORIST ACT AGAINST RNK PRESIDENT ARKADY GHUKASIAN

PanARMENIAN.Net - 25.09.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. Today the trial of the terrorist act against RNK President Arkady Ghukasian was announced to be stopped till September 26.

As the correspondent of MEDIAMAX reports from Stepanakert, this decision was taken at the request of accused Vardan Tashchian due to his bad health condition. Tashchian was the first to give testimony on Saturday, September 23.

As the trial started, accused Samvel Babayan asked for permission to inquire where Tashchian was taken during the short break in the process. Tashchian said he didn't remember, but the judge explained that accused V. Tashchian, who needed medical treatment, was taken to the first-aid post, located in the courthouse. -0-
