YEREVAN WELCOMES DECISION BY COUNCIL OF EU MEMBER-STATES FOREIGN MINISTERS TO INCLUDE ARMENIA IN ENLARGED EUROPE

PanARMENIAN.Net - Yerevan welcomes the decision taken by the Council of the foreign ministers of the EU member-states on including the South Caucasian countries in "Wider Europe" program, Armenian FM Vardan Oskanian stated today during the meeting with EU special representative for the South Caucasus Heikki Talvitie, who arrived in Yerevan on a 4-day visit. According to the report by the Armenian MFA press service, the parties discussed Armenia's upcoming steps on the path of realization of the program. The efforts exerted by the OSCE Minsk Group as well as other possibilities, which could contribute to the negotiation process and the conflict settlement, were also viewed.
