RUSSIA AND ARMENIA SIGNED AGREEMENT ON EDUCATION COOPERATION

PanARMENIAN.Net - In Moscow Russia and Armenia have signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of education. July 13 the Ministers of Education and Science of Russia and Armenia appended their signatures under the document in the presence of the Premiers of the two countries. As reported by ITAR-TASS Russian news agency, Armenian Prime Minister Andranik Margarian noted that "the Russian language has a high status in the republic." He emphasized that Russian language teachers are being actively trained in Armenia. There are 65 schools with profound study of the Russian language in Armenia today, 50 schools have "Russian" forms.
