ARMENIAN STATE BUDGET TO INCREASE EFFICIENCY OF PROGRAMS FOR POVERTY REDUCTION AND STRUGGLE AGAINST CORRUPTION, ARMENIAN PARLIAMENTARIAN CONSIDERS

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian state budget for year 2005 will allow reaching the main goal - to let the population enjoy the outcomes of the economic growth of the country, as the budget is socially oriented, Dashnaktsutyun faction leader Levon Mkrtchian told journalists yesterday. According to Republican faction chairman Galust Saahakian, the Armenian budget for the nest year is a culmination. In his words, the items of the document will increase the efficiency of the realization of two strategic programs simultaneously - the poverty reduction and struggle against corruption programs. At the same time, in the opinion of opposition representatives, the budget "will only allow resolving of situational tasks". Besides, as Justice bloc secretary Victor Dallakian, the deputies representing the bloc will not take part in the discussion and voting on the document.
