MEASURES DEVOTED TO CENTENARY OF ARAM KHACHATURIAN HELD IN ROMANIA

PanARMENIAN.Net - A cycle of measures devoted to the centenary of famous Armenian composer Aram Khachaturian are held in Romania. A concert presenting the composer's works was held in one of the prestigious halls of Bucharest February 7, at which Romanian president Ion Iliescu, country leadership representatives, foreign diplomats and ambassadors were present. Aram Khachaturian is famous in Romania not only for his great compositions, but also for being the teacher of a number of famous Romanian musicians. The Romanian president appreciated the legacy of the great composer and his ties with musical art representatives of Romania.
