PRESENCE OF LARGE ARMENIAN COMMUNITY IN RUSSIA LETS ARMENIA REMAIN PARTICIPANT OF CULTURAL DEVELOPMENT OF RUSSIAN-LANGUAGE SOCIETY

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia has been the most monoethnic republic of the former USSR, where after the breakup of the Union no problems arose connected with the Russian diaspora. Famous political scientist, director of institute of CIS countries Constantine Zatulin said in an interview to Russian TVC channel. In his words, there was a problem of Russian-language Armenians, at whose urgent request Russian-Armenian University has been formed and the Russian language is taught at schools as before. Moreover, the availability of a large Armenian community in Russia lets Armenia always remain participant of the process of cultural and spiritual development of not only the Armenian, but the Russian and Russian-language society, C. Zatulin noted.
