Congress of Western Armenians to be held in Paris soonNovember 16, 2007 - 19:01 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Today, Armenian Prime Minister Serge Sargsyan met with Karen Mikaelyan, head of the organization committee on preparation and conduction of a congress of heirs of Genocide survivors, the RA government's press office reported. Mr Mikaelyan presented the outcomes of the committee's activities since 2000 and plans for organization of the Congress of Western Armenians in Paris in the near future. Serge Sargsyan was given a collection of shorthand record of the first and second congresses of Western Armenians in 1917 and 1919 in Yerevan and Paris, respectively.
