Nalbandian, Solana discuss Armenia-EU cooperation

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia's Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met Wednesday with EU Secretary General, Foreign Policy Chief Javier Solana to discuss the Armenia-EU cooperation, the ENP Action Plan implementation, the post-election situation in Armenia and regional security, the RA MFA press office reported.



Minister Nalbandian confirmed willingness of the Armenian authorities will continue strengthening democracy in the republic.



He briefed Mr Solana on the current stage of the Nagorno Karabkh conflict settlement, specifically the outcomes of the recent Saint Petersburg presidential meeting.



The parties also referred to regional security and stability.



On the same day, Minister Nalbandian met with his Belgian counterpart Karel de Gucht to discuss cooperation within international structures and some security issues.
