«ARMENTEL» COMPANY FINED FOR ABUSE OF MONOPOLISTIC POSITION

PanARMENIAN.Net - The economic court of Armenia has obliged «ArmenTel» company to pay fine to the sum of 5 mln drams ($8600) for abuse of monopolistic position in the mobile communication market. It should be reminded that the plaintiff was the state commission for protection of economic competition that raised the issue on legality of actions of «ArmenTel» that required to buy mobile phones when giving the subscribers the new package of services. According to the verdict of the court, «ArmenTel» must get back all the phones that were sold at the connecting to the new package of the services.
