AUTHORS OF CONSTITUTION REFORM ALTERNATIVE BILL WITHDREW DOCUMENT

PanARMENIAN.Net - The six opposition parties, which had suggested discussion of an alternative bill of constitutional reform, withdrew the document. One of the draft developers, Chairman of the parliamentary commission for science, education, culture and youth affairs Shavarsh Kocharian stated it at the National Assembly today. In his words, the document withdrawal is a consequence of parliament Speaker Armen Khachatrian's violation of the arrangement that the alternative bill will be discussed along with the draft presented by the commission under the President. Let us remind that the interim parliamentary commission for constitutional reform arrived at negative conclusion concerning the alternative project while approving the presidential version.
