"COMMON STATE" PRINCIPLE IN KARABAKH SETTLEMENT CAN BE REFERRED TO HISTORY"

PanARMENIAN.Net - «The principle of «common state» in the Karabakh conflict settlement can be referred to the history,» - OSCE Minsk Group French Co-Chair Phillip de Suremain stated this in his interview to «Liberty» radio station. In his words, in the course of the OSCE Minsk Group US, Russian and French Co-Chairs' coming visit to the region they intend to suggest new ideas and make new proposals that will differ from the previous ones in their concrete content and will let help the negotiation process out to the right track. The final terms of the visit are being coordinated with all the parties involved in the conflict. The diplomat expressed hope for coming to a compromise soon taking into consideration the constructive potential of the Co-Chairs' new initiatives. Phillip de Suremain emphasized that the Minsk Group Co-Chairs continued the consultations concerning the peaceful settlement of the conflict with all the region states without participation of which it was impossible to speak about achieving a compromise. In spite of the Washington's threats against Iran, the Co-Chairs do not intend to break off the contacts with official Teheran, which as it is known is observer in the Karabakh conflict settlement.
