PanARMENIAN.Net - YEREVAN, May 11. /Mediamax/. Robert Kocharian is interested in dragging out the settlement of the Karabakh conflict for at least a year, which will allow him "to provide favorable for him outcome of presidential elections in the year 2003", ex-speaker of the Armenian Parliament Babken Ararktsian said today at a press conference in Yerevan.

The ex-speaker is sure that such a policy leads to "further isolation of Armenia". Commenting on the last statements of the Foreign Minister of Armenia Vardan Oskanian, Ararktsian said that the head of the Foreign Ministry is a "disciplined executor" of the president's will. --0--
