SESSION OF COMMITTEE OF SECRETARIES OF ACS MEMBER-COUNTRIES' SECURITY COUNCILS STARTED IN YEREVAN

PanARMENIAN.Net - YEREVAN, April 26. /Mediamax/. The session of Committee of Secretaries of Security Councils (CSSC) of member-countries of the Agreement on Collective Security (ACS) started in Yerevan today.

Secretary of Security Council to Armenian President, Serzh Sarkisian said opening the meeting that the session of CSSC preceded the summit of Heads of ACS member-countries to be held in Yerevan in the end of May.

He stressed that none of the countries of the world was safeguarded against the danger of international terrorism. According to Sarkisian, the issues of informational and ecological security are also very urgent today and there is a necessity of joint actions.

Sarkisian noted that the CSSC was harmoniously supplementing with the activity of Council of Ministers of Defense and Foreign Affairs of ACS member-countries.

Besides the Secretaries of Security Councils of Russia, Belarus, Kirghizia, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan, the Secretary of Security Council of Georgia, Nugzar Sajaya also takes part in the works of the session as an observer. --0--
