The officials of law-enforcement bodies of Armenia keep illegally detaining the representatives of sexual minorities. The chairman of the Helsinki Association of Armenia Michael Danielian declared this today at a press conference in Yerevan.According to him, the persecutions of law-enforcement bodies are carried out to receive grafts. He said several cases are known when the persecuted citizens, fearing of publicity and of bringing of criminal cases, paid US$300 each to the employees of law-enforcement bodies.
