THE SECOND CROSSING OF THE CONTACT LINE OF THE ARMED FORCES OF AZERBAIJAN AND RNK BY THE OSCE MISSION FOR THE PAST SIX MONTHS

PanARMENIAN.Net - 29.08.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. On August 28 the OSCE mission held the monitoring of the contact line of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan and Nagorno Karabakh in the north-east of RNK.

As was reported to MEDIAMAX in the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of RNK, the Personal Representative of the Chairperson-in-Office of the OSCE Anjey Kaspzyk, who directed the monitoring, crossed the defensive positions of the troops and passed on to the territory, controlled by RNK forces, accompanied by his field assistants Karrel Kratki (Czech) and Stephan Buchmeier (Austria).

In his turn, field assistant Ian Keller crossed the contact line in the opposite direction. During the monitoring the meeting of the commanders of the two sides, responsible for this defense section, took place.

This is already the second crossing of the contact line of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan and Nagorno Karabakh by the OSCE mission, headed by Anjey Kaspzyk. The first one took place on May 25 in this very section in the north-east of Martakert region. -0-
