According to the information of the Intergovernmental Statistics Committee of CIS, a rise in the industrial production during the period of January-May has been observed in ten CIS countries, if compared to the same period in 1999.The production in Armenia has risen for 3.1 %, for 5.4 % in Uzbekistan, for 8.2 % in Tajikistan, for 4.6 % in Azerbaijan, for 5.1 % in Belarus, for 11.4 % in Georgia, for 17.1 % in Kazakhstan, for 3.9 % in Moldavia, for 10.8 % in Ukraine, for 10.4 % in Russia.
