FIRST INTERNATIONAL ARAM KHACHATURIAN CONTEST OF PIANISTS TO BE HELD IN YEREVAN

PanARMENIAN.Net - The first-ever international Aram Khachaturian contest of pianists will be held in Yerevan November 23-30. As chairman of the contest organizational committee, rector of the Yerevan State Conservatoire Sergey Sarajian reported today, 27 pianists from Armenia, Greece, Georgia, Russia, USA, Ukraine and Belgium are to take part in the contest. The contest jury is formed of world-famous musicians: professors from Moscow, London, Tokyo and Yerevan. The contest participants should perform Aram Khachaturian's works. The Grand Prix of the contest is $15 000.
