The Festival will close with screening of Serge Avedikian’s Chienne D'histoire, which was featured at Istanbul international film festival. The Festival program also includes Yerevan Nights event – open air screening of festival films, as well as Jazz-Cinema musical competition with participation of Armenian jazz bands as part of the festival. Hamazkayin Cultural and Educational Association Cyprus hosted a screening of My Name is Aram documentary directed and produced by Carmen Labaki. Meanwhile, Nicosia Jazz Festival in Stasikratous featured Koharapayl Armenian jazz band, who present Armenian folk music with modern arrangement. Moscow hosted Armenian stage director Hakob Ghazanchyan’s I am a Seagull play. The play, starring Russian actors, was presented to Moscow audience with the assistance of CIS Intergovernmental Humanitarian Cooperation Fund (Rossotrudnichestvo). Armenian Ministry of Diaspora and the Union of Writers of Armenia signed a memorandum of cooperation which envisages conduction of the Forum of Armenian Books to be held in the framework of One Nation, One Culture festival, which kicked off in April and will last until November.
