RPA member says his party will win parliamentary majority

PanARMENIAN.Net - Ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) will win majority of seats in future parliament following the elections, Republican MP Vardan Ayvazyansaid, stressing conduction of free, fair and transparent elections in the country as a priority for authorities.

Free Democrats party member Anush Sedrakyan, in turn, harshly criticized the authorities, particularly RPA, ironically replacing the party’s slogan for the oncoming elections “Believe to make a change” for “Change to be believed in.” She further positively assessed the recent disagreements within the ruling coalition – between RPA and Prosperous Armenia.

For his part, Mr. Ayvazyan noted that in case any force within the ruling coalition is displeased with the current situation, it is free to quit it.

“RPA will struggle for its votes at forthcoming elections,” he concluded.
