Armenia’s deficit rate to total 2,9% in 2012

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian government fully implemented the state budget in 2011, simultaneously reducing the deficit.

“2,7% deficit rate was recorded in 2011 instead of the planned 3,9%,” Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan said during a meeting of the board of trustees of the National Competitiveness Foundation of Armenia on March 31.

Noting that 2,9% deficit is planned for 2012, the PM said that policy of gradual reduction of deficit will be pursued in the future, governmental press service reported.
